Artistic Vision

From paintings in black-and-white to my current work in 3D metal; light and nature have defined my artistic vision. In my paintings and as an architectural lighting designer, I focus on the dynamic interplay of light, shade, and shadow to render objects in built and natural environments. As a studio artist, visual balance and natural harmony form the basis of my work. I use the properties of light to render applied texture and the natural color of the metals that I select for my 3D forms. My design vision and artistic inspiration are articulated in my video entitled The Art of Nature.
